On Tuesday, October 15, 2019 between 15:55 and 16:02 UTC we experienced a loss in availability to Humio. During this 7-minute period, all web requests were impacted, including access to the web UI, all API requests, and any ingest endpoints. Most log shippers maintain a queue, so any queued logs should have been sent once availability was restored.

The issue was caused by a forced reset of the network interface on one of our primary web proxies. We're very sorry for the trouble this caused! We are working on implementing some changes to both help prevent this from happening again and to minimize impact even if there are future occurrences.
